So i just got my aug 2008 Dsport magazine and they have and they have the 10 best used cars to buy and I thought to my self its a shame the Mazda Speed protege wont be in there but yet i start to read through it and sure enough it is in there woo hoo finally the Protege gets more love I'm not gone to say how they call it a Mazdaspeed protege 5 but its still nice they people still think of our cars and one of the best used cars its probably the handling that got them hooked

i'm looking at that issue now. they butchered the engine code. at least they used a picture of the spicy!

If they only knew of this forum and how every owner beat the hell out of their MSP. Even if they took great care of the car, it beat the hell out of itself. If there was ever one car I'd avoid at all costs, it would be a used MSP. Then again, I'm biased.

I got to say so far (knock on wood) my msp has been the best used car purchase I have ever made

my msp has been the best car I have ever bought. even though I hate it sometimes. amazingly I have done very little body damage to it. especially over 5 years. all of my other cars and trucks were destroyed within 2 years blown engine or just destroyed
