Does anybody else's temp gauge show the wrong exterior temperature. Yesterday the temp outside was in the mid to upper 80's and the display in the car only read 70, and it only went up to about 75 while driving. A good ten degree's below the actual outside temp. Just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem.

Now I'm driving the 06 (wife and kid need better a/c you know :D) and I don't have the outside temp reading anymore :(, but the only thought is to find where the sensor is and give it a good clean.
I don't have a real theory here, but as a student we played with a lot of those sensors for different projects and that was the main cause for erroneous readings.

i don't care what kind if car you have, the location of the ambient air temperature sensor is not an accurate way to measure the real temp.they are usually attached on he radiator support.if the ecm doesn;t throw you a trouble code, don't worry about it(flash)
