stereo install...help

How do i get the stereo out .lol I am having trouble getting the surrounding piece that has surrounds the stereo. help help please

Did you try searching? I'm pretty sure it's been covered on here before. You have to remove the two black pieces on the edge of the stereo. Then you need Ford stereo removal tools to put in the holes in each side and pull it out. If you search you can find the threads with pictures and step by step instructions.

I mean the piece that is silver and has carbon fiber on it around the a/c knobs and around the stereo. didnt find anything on that when i searched.

Oh, when you said you needed help removing the stereo, I thought you meant the stereo.

There's a thread in the How To section about fixing the A/C fan selector knob. Pretty sure that will tell you how to remove that piece.
