Need Help! Removing rear trailing arm bushings.

I have been going to town on the rear trailing arm bushings and have done nothing but shredded rubber all over the place. i bought these as a stock replacement.

There looks to be a metal ring on the out side of the rubber, but still inside the trailing arm. Any help appreciated! do i just hammer the F out of it?

I imagine you reuse the stock sleeves and slide these in. I can let you know in a week or two, I'll be doing the same thing. But I'm betting that'll be too late.
