MAM Mid-Pipe Install fitting

I was hoping that someone who has the MAM catted midpipe installed could comment on the fittment of the midpipe to either their stock j-pipe or to the CS j-pipe

I have the CS pipe and after doing a little visual inspection with the bosal gasket that is supplied with the CS pipe, it doesn't look like they want to play nice together, and the CS pipe is meant to be a direct fit.

I did some looking around for an install guide as maybe there is something I'm missing with this or a thread related to the install and fittment but I couldn't find one.

the gasket doesn't match up with the flange on the mid-pipe very well that will probably cause a leak in the future...or am I just being paranoid?!?!
