HOw does tire rotation work with the tpms sensors? Are the front wheels set to a higher setting than the rears? And will rotating the tires throw it off?

STOP!

If you rotate the front TPMS sensors to the rear it will certainly tear a hole in the universe.

I was going for tearing a rift in the space/time continuum, but I lawl'd at yours, too.

It's fine. The sensors set the light off at 27psi no matter what. Doesn't matter whether they're front or rear.

Ok so all sensors will go off at 27. See I was thinking that they would go off at a 1 or 2psi drop so that the difference from front to rear of 32 and 34 would set them off. Well this means I should be checking my pressures more often. I thought I could just rely on the tpms light to tell me when I was low.

is that 27psi cutoff an adjustable setting? could you have the dealer bump it up to 30 if you wanted?
