View Full Version : What is this cx-7 worth?
I am in the market for a cx-7 and i have found plenty in my area. i have found a few used ones in my price range but they are not too far off what a new one would cost. There is one in particular that i have a question about. It is an 08 CX-7 GT with the Tech package. Leather, sunroof, navigation, AWD. It was a demo model that was driven by the regional mazda manager. apparently hes someone big but that could be a marketing ploy. they say he is the head person that makes the warranty decisions in the region. they are asking 24899 for it. it has 5k miles on it. is this a decent price? they are worth well above that but they have had this vehicle for at least a month. should i try and get them to go much lower? i was thinking of offering something like 23k and see if they bite just to get rid of it. any opinions?

with 5k miles and fully optioned up, this does not sound like a bad deal
because of how long its been sitting there, i am going to lowball them and see how they react. i have no problem walking out a few times to get them to agree.

I thought the price came down on the CX-7? Sometime on Ebay motors you will find one alot cheaper from dealers across the states that are trying to push a sale. I know in GA there was one a while back selling for 21k

I recently bought an 07 with 8400 miles on it for $16,500.
It's not optioned heavily, but it was priced really well.

My '07 is on a lot here in IL for $19495...GT with Remote start, Sirius, black leather, Bose and some nice aftermarket stuff like grille, dash kit, shark fin, pinstripe, fog trim, turbo badge. Gotta a couple thousand at least to play with on mine from that price. Oh I had like $27,000 miles on it.

I sold my fully loaded 2007 CX7 GT last month. It had every option you could get on a CX7, even silly things like sunroof wind visor, etc, etc. Remote start, bose, nav, the works.
It was worth $17.5k.
24k for an 08 with 5k demo miles on it? No way. Bring them down to 20k. The SUV market has tanked and continues to hit rock bottom. I would really work the numbers with them.
Even KBB right now has the 2007 CX7 AWD GT fully loaded for $17,165.
Don't take $24k...

WOW....your economy is in the pooper!!!
The Mazda product line is in the top 3 for resale in Canada. 07 CX-7's go for $25k-$30k here. You'd be lucky to find an 04 Mazda 3 for $16.5k.
