Saw a modification for both hand controls and a chair lift the other day and wanted to share....

The company who did the work says they are seeing more 5's then what was caravans that are getting modded for special needs access.

That's cool! Was curious what was going to take the place of the Caravans for this purpose! Gotta love the 5!!!

I wonder if any one has even looked into this program that Mazda offers? It appears to be available in Canada.

the reason why so many ppl use the 5 for wheelchair is because there's a program for it.. it's from mazda cananda.. i'm not sure about USA. when u put those special needs thing on. mazda canada will pay for part of it.

I disagree with the choise of the Mazda 5...I think the configuration is more "car like" but accomidating for modifications. JMO
