well im not really sure
i dont know much about the 1.6 engine
i was just saying its a possibility that you might have to modify either the radiator (get a smaller/thinner one), the radiator house, or the power steering pump
those are the most common things that people modify when their putting turbo manifolds it

I've been looking for a ZMDE turbo manifold for some months now and that ebay mani is NOT for the ZMDE. It's a rip off copy of the OBX manifold for the FS 1.8-2.0. I know that because the head flange bolts on the 1.6 are 8 ant that manifold has 10. A FS manifold can be used but you will have to re-drill almost all the bolt holes and also have to grind the 2 center ports to match the 1.6 cylinder head, at least this was done to the NA headers when there were no OBX or any brand header for the 1.6 protege.

yep. The 1.8/2.0 center ports are a little more spread apart than the 1.6.

If you want, you can make your own turbo header. bikman still has one or two header flanges for the 1.6L protege. Send him a PM and ask for them.

And why not buy a complete turbo kit?

If you were wondering, the turbo manifold that they had is not in stock and with no estimated time of arrival. I've contacted them some time ago. They only have the complete kits. I'm trying to save some $$ to buy one of them.
