A sad day for my MSP

hey everybody I haven't been on the forums in a while just cuz I've been trying to fix my tranny for way back when and I finally did it I got some customs 3rd and 4th gears from across the waters and I cryo treated them so 1 through 4 is all strong and good and I just finished it just a couple weeks ago and I broke it in and its all good and I even dynoed it last weekend and did 297 whp at 10 psi on a t28 so it aint bad and I'll post the dyno cuz some of yall probably aint gonna believe it but today my motor wouldnt even turn over so I look at the battery and its good so I look at the started and it was literally melted so I changed it out and it started to crank but it wouldnt cut on so I look under it and I realized I blew the motor so I' pissed out that.

your starter thing doens't match the blwon engine....you just don't melt a starter and magically blow the engine.

how did it run the last time you ran the car?
3rd, if you really blew it...it would had been smoking like crazy....you wouldn't had missed that.
so, hopefully, you at some point will realize that you didn't blow your motor and you are just a morron.....j/k....in a good way.....i rather be a morron than have a blown motor......my sense of humor is dark like that today.

anyways, give us more info...like
color of oil
color of water
if there is any oil in the floor
compression check across all the pistons.....

Just curious...did you have an AWR oil pan on there? Oil leaks, consumption??

right before it blew it was running good no problems it broke at night so couldnt pay much attention to details but I know I blew it cuz when I put it on the lift there's a hole and I can see the rod and I know I dont have x-ray vision to see through the motor lol

Man you must have had some kind of issue. I think you should see what happened and fix it... since it seems you've sunk alot of money! I'd say cut your losses is not an option at this point?

yea it was kind of weird it wasnt like I was racing and it blew, it was raining one day and later that night I tried to start my car and it sounded like it wanted to start but didnt so I looked at the started and it was done and I looked up at my motor and there was a hole in it

what? he was forged and he blew a hole in his block. So at minimum he would need a new set of pistons,rods,bearings,honing,not to mention he would ne a new non ventilated block lol

Sad to hear what happened to your car... Don't Give up man.. what easy comes easy goes. keep it up I'm pretty sure you can fix your car weak spots up and just have fun with it like others have done...

Hey, what brand of forged parts were you running in the engine, and how high did you rev it?? Can you list your Mods, stating the items that are still good, Turbo etc.
Anyway I'm interested in the trunklid, rear bumper and steering wheel. Let me know how much..

but I spent more then 3K on the motor I built, I spent around 8-9 K just on my motor build. I was running wisco pistons and K1 rods 9.0:1 with a 4 layer thick head gasket to bring down the compression. after my whole build my rev limiter was at 7800 but I use to shift when I'm racing at 7300. I'm gonna start opening stuff up and see whats still good. any suggestions on what's a good reliable car that has a decent about of speed?
