well, i'm officialy in NC. i've been here for about a week. i already love it up here. i'm the jacksonville, NC. so i'll be looking forward to seeing you all eventually.
i was just wondering if anyone in the jacksonville area knows of some fun roads that arent completely littered with cops? i'm not saying i wanna race or anything, i just want to be able to open my car up a little on some of the wonderfull winding roads NC has to offer. i've found a few good raods, but they are highly patroled. just thought i'd ask.

sneads ferry is the place to go for some curvy backroads. most of the roads have been repaved in the past 2 years and the best part, at night there is only one sheriff that patrols the whole area, besides the occasional state trooper. they tend to stay to hwy 17 and the other major roads. If you wanna look a couple of roads up a few good ones are, old folkstone rd, tar landing rd, holly ridge rd. a good one for topping out is folkstone rd which is a different rd than old folkstone. i live off tar landing so if you drive past and see a blue msp honk lol.

well man good luck coming out this way. just make sure you drive them slow at first to know the layout. a couple of turns are a little tricky but there is also some nice banked ones as well. just be careful drive safe and watch out for those occasional deer that like to jump out in front of you. lol
