My car just started kicking out of 3rd and sometimes will kickout and grind before it gets fully engaged. My first inclination was that I had a bad shift fork but after reading on here I think the gear and synchro might be damaged also.
Question. Where do we find repair parts? I do not race my car so I don't think I can justify Cryo'd gears or anything like that, but I do want an LSD and the deep 5th gear as my comute is about 30 miles one way. Is there anything else I need to do while I am in the trans? Where would you guys and gals suggest getting a "rebuild" kit? I am comfortable doing my own work I just can't seem to find a comprehensive list of parts or where to get them.
