Issue with A/C

Had something strange happen this weekend; took my 2008.5 MSP3 for a 150-mile trip (in the Northeast, where the temps were around 95) and, about 2/3 of the way through the trip, the A/C stopped working; just blew small amounts of warm air. I shut it off for a few minutes, rolled down the windows, then turned it back on. Worked fine the rest of the trip.

Is this a known issue?

Same thing happened to me, but since it started working again, i haven't taken it to the dealer. My guess is that condenser/evaporator got full of condensation and triggered some sort of safety mode until the water evaporated. Just a theory man, but i have no definite proof except that it smelled like dankness when i turned the AC back on, like something humid...i dont know.

Your theory makes sense. I'll probably bring it in over the next week or so, and I'll let you know what I learned (if anything....)
