Is it possible for our sedans to run 8" wide rims.
I'm thinking of running 17x8 on 215/45/17 tires..with a 1.8"drop
I assume the rims will have to have a crazy high offset like +48mm or higher.
Anyone running 8" rims..any rubbing issues?
Much appreciated
thanks

$420 shipped a good price for the reinforced versions from the later years without tires. also where did you get your spacers?

why would you run 215 on an 8" wheel

i didn't want to mess with the fenders, but i wanted a wider wheel. i got mine basically for free, when you see that i sold my stock rims for the same price.
i got my spacers from NSN Motorsports when they were a vendor here on the forums.
on a 17-inch wheel, i wouldn't run anything over 55-50 offset, or under 45. however, you might have a hard time finding something in that size with that offset.
