Well...... It started on friday by the way I don't have my ms3 yet and right now i am driving a 2007 vw gli fahrenheit addition that is bright yellow. Well friday i got pulled over for going through a yellow light that the officer claimed was red because his was green. That was a $124 ticket. Today i was driving down the the beach a silver sl55 amg was in front of me and a blue m3 was behind me and there was 3 cars in the right lane next to me and a undercover state trooper around the corner shooting lazer well long story short he pulled me over, out of all of the cars and asked me what the deal was with the gli fahrenheit's because he pulled over one earlier in the day going 110. I guess he thought i may have been the car he pulled over earlier and gave me a ticket for going 85 in a 65 for $294....it has been a expensive weekend after i will have to pay the lawyer thousands to take care of the tickets.I hope everyone had a better 2 days then me i will be going 60 in the right lane all the way home tomorrow. ps i need some moral support cause i am pretty bummed out that money could have been mods in the new car. please cheer me up lol.

wow ONLY $124 for a red light ticket, you must not be in California, that would run you about $400 and a point on your driving record/insurance unless you go to traffic school, even then you can only do that once every 18 months to keep it off the record.

Another reason I didnt go with the TRUE RED MS3, probably would have had the same cop troubles you have in your yellow GLI

Why are you paying a lawyer thousands to take care of the tickets? Just man up and pay them.....
A Lawyer is only going to maybe possibly reduce the fine, and even then it won't balance out the fact that you just him thousands to do it.

Dang man, that sucks. If it makes you feel better..... ah screw it, youre just in a shitty spot. LoL I have a True Red MS3 and I get spoted alot, but I usualy spot them first so that by the time I go past them, Im doing close to the speed limit and they dont care. Ive been pulled over a few times but only gotten one tickit ever, and it was on St Pattys day. Military ID usually gets ya off the hook, but not when they feel like being douches and cracking down on everybody for no reason. :(

You need laser diffuser for your headlights, tail lights and plate(s) :)
This combined with a good radar jammer and they will be hitting the cars ahead and behind instead of you.... Can't ticket what you can't get a reading on

two years in a row i went to a friends house in new hampshire...

first year as i was coming home and crossing the NH/MA border a state trooper pulls be over 18over = $250 (that was in my black integra)

Second year, I had just got my MS3 so i wanted to give people a ride surely enough with the car in neutral cruising down a very small hill a local cop pulls me over, but he only gave me a warning...

Sounds to me like you should stop going to your friends house, eh? LoL

Thanks guys feeling better already lol you always feel better the next day but boy going 65 with cruise control on in the right lane and having minivans pass you on the way back home from the beach and not passing one cop was probably a bigger slap in the face lol

Yeah, I hate driving right after a ticket cuz youre still so scared that there is another cop around the next corner, about to jump out and eat your soul.

Not bad. How bout I was driving my Brand new 2008.5 Red Speed 3 home from the dealership with 10 miles on the car and got a 57 in a 45 that ruined the excitment right off the bat. A month later all at once I got 75 in a 55, 2 counts following too closely, vehicle speed competition with another vehicle (rsx type-s), Reckless driving, and attempting to flee or evade the police (went to jail for the first time that day). The lawyer only charged me 800 dollars for all of these charges and even handled my swimming in a privately owned lake ticket (dont ask) for free. All charges still pending...but lawyers are very good at making things go away. (gossip)

If you plan on speeding a radar detector is a must..I got a nice Bel. RX65 off ebay for only $250 shipped and its well worth it.its nice to know there is a speed trap ahead long before you get there.

IF he accepts the tickets, his insurance goes up for 3 years. this is going to be alot when gets his MS3 in and thats not even counting any tickets he may get in the future.

Getting singled out in a pack of people sucks, I've had that happen. But speaking of speed traps....

I don't know if any of you have seen signs on the highway saying "Speed Monitored by Aircraft," I always thought they were doing that to scare people. But...low and behold they actually mean it, at least here in Colorado.

I was in a group of about 6 cars cruising along an open freeway (80 in a 65) no cops in sight. Then, all of sudden I go under an overpass and 6 cops come screaming down the ramp pulling people over left and right. Three more people were pulled over on the other side of the highway at the same time. So 9 of us all got ticketed by an airplane at the exact same time, along with aerial photos of the radar.

Hope that cheers anyone up that got caught recently!

They just did an extensive article not long ago in one of the car magazines. Apparently Ohio has an extensive air radar patrol division. It was crazy how many tickets they would issue. No officer involved, the tickets came in the mail.

please explain how bad luck in a yellow car is being irresponsible tell me you have never driven 85 on the highway or that you have not gone through a yellow light.
