under the front passanger seat

Never looked into under the front passenger seat, but surprised to found out that there is this cable running into a harness as shown in the picture. Is this what it should look like? Thought these stuff should be somehow protected and out of direct sight.

Totally normal to see something like that in almost any modern vehicle... that's for the sensors in the seat (SRS and seat belt indicator)

that might also be for the bose amp, i'm not sure where it is in the cx-7 (ours doesnt have bose) but in my ms6, its under the passenger seat.

The Bose amp is in the rear cargo just below the rear seats and behind the spare tire and it can be seen when you lift the cargo cover. That cable are usually for the DVD disc unit for the navi which I have
