to do a custom leather seat for a protege5 is kindda expencive with katszkin......about $1200 for just the seats =-(...and i was thinking about doing it, i gess ill just stick with cloth seats!!

I'm still a bit on the fence about the side moldings. I know they don't really work...but I wonder what the paint underneath looks like? heh heh
Painted HL's for sure though...that is a no brainer!

I actually just shaved my moldings about a month ago and there is literally no difference in paint at all. If you put your face about 2 inches from the spot where the two strips of double sided tape were and shine a really bright flashlight on it, you can see a SLIGHT difference but until you paste your face on the car, you can't see it at all.

it's still on the stock muffler, so it doesn't sound very loud. it does sound really good and throaty already. i am glad that i did it this way instead of just buying off-the-shelf for everything. i will probably be getting a racingbeat axle back to finish out the exhaust and i think that it will sound really good after that (from how other people's exhausts sound.)

Yea man we feel the same way about the different JDM models. I believe there was even an AWD familia that came out over there. People would DIE to get their hands on one of those over here. Oh and those taillights that you have cost us about $200 bucks to get and are very very indemand.

We are not that lucky, in Malaysia, I heard Mazda dealer only managed to sell not more then 50 units of BJ model.

We only got 1.6cc engine,old face lift for 2002-2003 BJ sedan/hatch & the lowest spec model too, no airbags, no abs & rear disc brake. That make BJ model is unpopular Mazda model in Malaysia, so far only got 2 active 323 BJ owner that i know, not even enuff to form a club hahahaha. After i changed the face lift, some people think it's a Mazda 3!

FORD KN/KQ are more popular, we got a lot of Ford Lynx RS 2.0cc (equivalence to P5 or Sport 20) & SV which is 1.6cc, we 323 owner survive on Ford KN/KQ OEM parts as Mazda Jap part are expensive.
