I was reading through some of the threads about the broken motor mount some were experiencing. I am getting some clunking on my 08 and decided to take out the battery and check the bolt. Seems like Mazda changed it for the 08.
From what I have read, people that were checking the 07s had an 8 on the head of the bolt.
08 model- 10 on the head
I am assuming this is a little stronger. Let's hope so at least.
There have been a recall for '07. The '08 model should all be ok.

Yes, mine had a number 8 bolt. Torque specs are 61.7~83.4 ft*lbf. The bolt they just replaced it with was the number 10 bolt. Torque specs on that is 95.9~112.6 ft*lbf. When I say torque specs, that's how tight the bolt is suppose to be. Yes, it is a stronger bolt. I just hope it holds up in my car.
