Rear Lip Shipping

I am getting an MP3 rear lip from another member on the forum, but they got quoted a price of $142 to ship it via fedex. I know members on here have shipped these lip's and I'd have to imagine it was a hell of a lot less than that, so whats the trick? What service did you use and how did you package it? Were trying to ship it within the US (Washington state to Ohio)

i've shipped a number of those things around, and that price for shipping seems very high. i would have guessed about $40-50 within the us. however, it all depends on the box size.
