The Mazda5 doesn't get much attention from the press, so I wanted to point out that it got a mention on the SF Chronicle/SFGate.com in an article about gas mileage (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/05/28/BUV310UTIJ.DTL&tsp=1). (alright)

I was skimming the article and noticed that one of the thumbnail pictures looked familiar. Here's a quote from the article:

"One interesting alternative that deserves attention is the Mazda 5. It's a cross between a station wagon and a minivan," he says. It seats six in three rows and in Consumer Reports tests got about 23 miles per gallon.

I'm hoping more folks become aware of the Mazda5 and consider it when buying. There is nothing else like it in terms of: price, # of seats, gas mileage, driving dynamics. Other vehicles get less MPG and/or drive more van/truck-like.
