View Full Version : Painted Valve Cover & Strut Bar!

Check it out, I got a little bit bored after staying up all night and decided to paint my valve cover and strut bar silver. The valve cover was previously unpainted and the strut bar was Ford blue. I think it looks a lot cleaner, but I wanna hear what you guys have to say. Enjoy the pics!

looks great, what kind of paint did you use on the valve cover?

wow mine needs that to . maybe i can have my body shop guy paint mine when he paints my car.

Thanks! It was Dupli-color "aluminum" high heat paint with ceramic, the 500 degree one. I can take a pic of the can if you would like.

Yeah, that would be sweet, but can he somehow adjust a sample of your body paint to make it high heat for the valve cover? That would be nice.

That's what I need to do...gotta replace the valve cover gasket anyway. Looks good!!

really nice job. matches the engine bay. mine was silver and i painted a second one red. my son called me a honda copycat ricer. silver ftw!
