My 03.5 P5 was purchased with the H4 conversion already done by the previous owner. However prior to today it was running with the high beam lamps lit when the lights were turned on.
If I'm correct, when the low beams are on only the low beam filament burns. When the high beams are switched on both the low and high beam filaments turn on. Turns out that when the low beams are on the car sends both leads for both filaments and they both ignite. When it's switched to high's, only one of them burns. Odd situation, I know. So my compromise for the time being was to switch the wires for the high/low filament. So now when I turn on my highs I get just a low beam and when I turn on my low's I get both highbeams and lowbeams.
Anybody know what I have to do to make it right? (low for low, high for high)
