2002 Protege5 P5 Factory Stereo Modification

Does anyone know how I can add an RCA or mini auxiliary input into the factory stereo for the 2002 Protege5? It has a better quality sound than the Kenwood eXcelon with the pioneer speakers that I have. The stock radio has room for an optional MD player, and I'm hoping I can utilize that as an auxiliary RCA or mini input.
