How easy/hard are they to remove? I am tired of looking at them all black and sticking out like a sore thumb. I want to remove them and paint them with the same paint I used to paint my upper grill and eyelids. I know its no professional paint job but what I used on the other parts of my car seemed to match almost perfect and not have any flaking or wear problems. I searched around for a how to or something but didn't really find anything, if anyone has done this before and could offer some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

k, here's the section from the manual that covers the doors. looks like you'll have to dismantle the whole thing, but it looks like just a couple of bolts and pins to remove the actual door handle.

Thanks for the file njaremka, I shal mess around with the doors this up comming week. I hate taking off the inside door panel with having roll down windos but it shouldn't be that bad.

If I get my lip painted, as I will be soon by Josh's dad, do you think the door handles need to be sprayed too? I mean he will already be painting my lip and his hatch so might as well right? Any easy way of going about painting the side mirrors as well? If I cant paint the mirrors its fine, but I hate looking at these black door handles :(
