The map clamp i have is the ptp clamp, that driver311 gave me...an i am thankfull for it as well, lol..he set it an its just waiting for the to be installed. My question is, it has 2 of each color wire, black, green, an red, an 1 orange wire. I can assume the orange is the tester wire, the thing is, i have been hitting boost cut bad, spike then cut...roller coaster lol...i no the install, have the wires, but dont no which ones to hook up to the map clamp? theres 6 wires total..

Fix the real problem.
Do not put a band-aid on it.
A MAP clamp is a hack and it does not fix boost spikes.
I doubt that you want to be the one to start the next "I blew up my motor" thread.
map clamps work fine as long as you dont over do the boost...

ehehh wrong ! boost spikes are gonna happen, its called MODDING !! when you have a nice free flowing intake/exhaust set up its gonna happen. so you suggest what ?? turn the boost down ? drive like a sissy ?? nope put that map clamp on and let that lettle turbo spike its ass off ! i have seen spikes from 25psi to past the 30psi my boost gauge reads up too ! its fine just dont try to hold 30psi !! a map clamp is no band aid. it does the same thing if not more than any of the half assed so called tuning devices out there !
as for you lazyboi my friend i suggest hitting up jon from ptp in a PM on the MS.org forums. he is on there all the time. wish i could help, but thats not what i run.
