I wanted to communicate with this community that we have issued an initial firmware update for the MS3 AccessPORT. Please follow the directions on this link (http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?ID=4106) in order to update the firmware on your AccessPORT. Below is a brief list of what this firmware update is addressing:

- Recovery Mode Enhancement
- "Boost Air Temp" corrected
- "Reset ECU" replaced with "Clear Codes" so p0606 is not thrown

We greatly appreciate your feedback and we will continue to make improvements to the AccessPORT and calibrations as data and your feedback come in.

Thanks,
Christian.

Be very careful when choosing 93 octane. I can't speak for the rest of the country, but her in S. Fla. 93 is available (or at least advertised) at the pumps. BUT THIS DOES NOT mean that it is 93. On my former performance car I had to use the 90-91 octane map (even when I pumped in 93) on the Xcaliber unit. Every time I used the 93 map + 93 octand fuel I got plenty of ping ping knock knock.

I suspect the the delivery truck once he fills up the under ground tanks with REGULAR GRADE and still has regular gas left, they have to dump it and pick ed the 93 octane tank. The truck must return empty. Just advice.

How could I order an AP with this update already autoloaded..?...from Cobb directly only?

also be aware that it is estimated that 1/4 gas stations are suspected to dilute there gas in other ways too, such as watering down.

You can run 92 or 93 octane on the 91 maps. I preferred the 91 maps on my WRX even though I put in 93 because the car felt better in certain conditions. I think the ECU wasn't pulling as much timing.

A couple of the Delta Sonic car washes around here have 100 octane Do you folks have that available? At least you can be pretty sure you are at 93 or above. I have not purchased any of it in well over a month but it was 5.99 a gal then.
