Does anyone else have a problem with the power windows sticking when the weather is damp?
It's like the window is getting stuck on something when I try to open it.
The front driver's side one is the worst, the front passenger one sticks occasionally and the rear ones seem to be fine....

My '04 windows work fine. Although the rears seem to 'chatter' a bit when they go down.

There's a TSB for the one-touch down driver's window sticking, but I haven't heard of anyone else having problems with all of the windows doing it.

if you are still under warranty i would deffinatly take it in and make sure its a documented problem before your warranty expires they should not be doing that at all.. i have almost 60k on my 04 and don't have an issue with windows and i live in the northeast where we get the full gammit of weather.

On my old 323 the power windows got sluggish and were very slow to close, without assistance.
In desparation, I sprayed a little silicone lube down the front and rear channels, and the windows worked
like new again ! (drinks)

Now that the weather is warm & sunny, all the windows roll down smoothly.
Guess I'll have to wait for some more rain to take the car to the dealer...

Just by the way you are describing your window issue, ie: weather related(when raining). you may have and issue with the glass run's. This is the rubber seal which sits between the glass and the steel glass channel(guide). You can try getting a can of silicone spray, and with the little red straw that comes with the can, just roll the window down then gives the channel a spray from top to bottom. (Lube the track in easiest terms). Just give them a light spray(fast sweep), no need to goop it on. Then see how they work. Its an ol skool trick but it wurks!

We're supposed to get some rain in the next couple of days so I'll try the silicone spray trick - thanks!

My windows stick like crazy. In fact, I even have a little black line on the glass where it sticks. This happens on all 4 windows.

Same here. Kinda made this permanent line across the top of my window tint.

there is a TSB for that... basicaly the clamp screws weren't tq'd correctly and you have to re-tq them. you can do it yourself its not hard just time consuming or if you are under warranty i would print out the tsb and take it to the dealership.

Is that so...
There a thread somewhere covering the process?
