I have a 2007 Mazda 3. My boyfriend has a small fishing boat and trailer i would like to be able to tow. The drive would never be over 10-15 miles tops (i live right off of the Mississippi River) and to be honest, i can actually tug the boat around by myself on its trailer! It's really not large. I just want to know if it would be a bad idea to get a trailer hitch installed to pull it. I know my manual says not to, but I have friends with similar cars who pull their jetskiis around. Any ideas? I just don't want to get hosed when it comes time to pull it up the boat launch. I attached a pic of the boat below...

Shouldn't be a problem unless the boat ramp is at some ridiculous angle.

do a search this topic has been brought up a couple times for jetskis and small boats like that... i think all people went ahead and got a hitch installed. maybe even pm them and see if it worked out as they had hoped??
good luck.
if that is your only option, its feasible. hidden hitch says:
Part Number: 60999
Description: Class I (6xxxx Series) 1-1/4"
Class Rating: CLASS I
WC: 2000 lbs.
Drawbar Kit: 3592
class one is the only class that i would put on that type of car. if there are any mods with exhaust, any type of traction mods, etc that could interfere. i would make real sure before you let someone touch it they know what is under there and dont start hacking away, etc. that site has a dealer locate on it too. fyi.
