Hey everyone. I actually own a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. But I've been thinking of unique visual things I can do to my car that other people might not be doing. And I got to looking at old mazda badges. (I want to put it on the center of the back hatch.) I like the really old one that's the M inside the circle. I saw another version on the sticky "Classic mazdas show your finds" at the top of this subforum that's like a triangle with the circle w/m logo. I'm looking for a badge like that. Apparently they stopped making cars with that particular logo in about 1974, way before I was even born, haha. So I won't be surprised if this turns out to be intractable. I'm open to other Mazda badges too, because I certainly haven't seen them all.

So, is there a website out there that I can buy an older badge from? Perhaps a classic car parts place? Maybe a junkyard? Anywhere?

Like this one looks especially sweet to me:

Well, good luck finding one of those. You may be able to find an old cosmo at a junkyard, but i doubt that badge would fit on the back of the 3. It looks like it conforms to the shape of the hood (now that i looked at it closely, it looks crooked on that hood lol)

You can have my emblem, if i can find something to replace it. But I have a 2001 626 so we have the same emblem haha...

...plus, if you stuck that emblem on, you may get laughed at... unless your 3 has a 3 rotor twin turbo swap in it?

Well there are ways to make something fit if you really want to. Bend it into shape, find a flatter surface maybe.

And that picture was just an example; I'm entertaining ideas at this point. That just happened to be one I saw right away from the top of the forum.

And I'm not going to be deterred by people scoffing. Meh, I say. Meh!

Lol. You might be able to get a custom one made if you can find a good shop.

they have the one where it's the "m" inside the circle but not in the rotor. but those are just as rare. one of my friends has those on his MX5's rims and they look soo sexy with the old school "m"s
