Meh. I can't say that this excites me.

The 1st generation Atenza wagon offered the AWD drivetrain many years before we got it here stateside in the form of the MS6, so I would expect the same from the 2nd generation.

What I can say is that I've heard rumors that AWD will be offered in subsequent launches after the initial '09 USDM launch, which wouldn't surprise me given Mazda's proclivity in launching additional trims/options through the Mazda6 product lifespan.
