Anyone who has installed a CAI...do you have to remove the front bumper in order to do the install?...or is it just to make life easier?

No you don't have to remove the front bumper but it really will make it way easier. It'll probably save you a bunch of grief.

You do if you want to remove the resonator. You can get the air box out in 5 minutes without removing it, but that big plastic resonator will get in the way of the end of your CAI. Taking off the bumper isn't hard:
