Today I was checking my Trans oil and I noticed it was almost on low, Im wondering which kind should i use and if i should drain the remaining oil in it and put it all new. My Pro is a 2000 1.8 Auto Tranny with 95k Miles.

Thanks in Advance

Yes, you should drain the remaining ATF and refill with new stuff. The old oil wil just degrade the performance of the new stuff you're putting in. As for the type of oil, you need factory recommended ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid). Check your owners manual for the recommended levels and viscosity. If you're looking for a bit of a boost and a smoother shifting tranny I'd go with Redline ATF. It's the best out there next to custom formulated (killit) and it'll last you much longer. If you don't go with Redline, I'd go with full synthetic oil or a high mileage synthetic blend. It's better for your tranny and it'll help extend it's life. Be glad you have an auto, cuz you can fill it from the dipstick (on the right hand side if you didn't know(smoke)).
