Rattlegun tightness

What are members thoughts on Mazda service dealers using rattleguns on their aftermarket locknuts. Have members found they are over tightened compared to stock Mazda wheel nuts?

Are aftermarket locknuts in general harder to loosen with a wheel brace compared to Mazda wheel nuts?

ah. i have had more of a problem with them scratching the insides of my wheels then damaging lugs/locks

asking this question as cant seem to loosen the locknuts, with the locknut tool attached to wheel brace.

yes they will always overtighten the lugs. I don't think they bother to actually torque the lugnuts they just ram them on as tight as they can.

im thinking now to get them off and replacing them with lightweight nuts, maybe Rays. Any others that i should consider?

opinions on Rays lightweight lock nuts?

Rays are nice but pretty expensive. I'm using Gorillas and they were very reasonable.
