New and Mazda3 Pricing Question

Hey y'all,
I'm new here and have been looking into getting a new Mazda3 Hatchback. The dealer priced an '08 Mazda3S Sport Manual (black exterior) for $16,239. However, I was more interested in the white, which they only have as a 2008.5 S Hatchback Touring Manual for $17,378 (I think invoice is 17,800). Do y'all think that these are good deals? If so, which deal would you go with? (FYI Cars are brand new)

why is the 08.5 1k more i wonder?? as they are both new and i thought the only change was color for the half model year... both prices don't seem bad as i paid more then that for my 04.. :( if they won't budge on the 08.5 i say screw the white and get the one for 16k.

08.5 has a MP3 capable option, power driver seat option, lighted vanity mirrors, i am not sure how much of that pertains to the sport (non touring or gt) model.

Just got off the phone. Keep in mind the 08.5 I listed above is a Touring model

Turns out the Sport 08.5 has everything that Mazda3GQ and also piano black interior. He wants to sell me a SPORT Refresh for 16,779.

Seems like a great salesperson.

Aight. I've decided to get the 2008.5 Mazda3S Sport Hatchback in Metropolitan Gray Mica. The color is weird but I think I'll quickly get used to it. Already got approved for my loan so I'm ready to dive in and join the club!

Picking up my 08.5 4door with the Touring Value package Friday, got the moonrooof with the 6cd & MP3, Copper Red Mica!!

Got a good deal at $17K?????

Just picked up my new ride! I got a White one instead of MGM (and they didn't charge extra :)). Got the car for $16,779. I think it's a good deal. It's a 08.5 Mazda3S Hatch White.
