New wheels for my Phantom Blue MZ3 sedan =)

So I finally pulled the trigger on a summer set of wheels and tires. I got them last Sunday but I am waiting for my hubcentric rings to get in before I mount them. I am SO excited to get them on.

18 x 7.5 Gram Light T57-RC in Bright Silver Paint
215/45-18 Pirelli PZero Nero tires

Well I think my scale is off... the wheel/tire package weighed in at 38 lbs... but it is most likely a hair over 40 lbs. As a point of reference my 17x7 MSP Racing Harts w/ the Blizzaks came in at 45 lbs... I still need to weigh the snowflakes I have on my car.

38lbs for the wheel/tire isn't bad at all for 18s. When I get some money I plan on buying 17" traklites which weigh about 14lbs. But since I'm broke now, all I plan on doing is running my OEM rims with light high performance tires.

I know the 2004 - 2006 17inch OEM rims weigh around 19lbs

Yeah, I am curious to see if the snowflakes are heavier than the 04-06 rims. They look heavier... that's for sure.

The tires came on the wheels. Beggars can't be choosers. =) They are a lot nicer than what I probably would have went with if I had gotten the rims by themselves.

Really? I've been looking for OEM rims around here panhandle but can't seem to find any and now the 08 iTouring *Value* comes with the snowflakes... I was upset.

How much for your snow flakes? I know it's going to be a ton to ship but I can tell you take care of your baby so I'm sure your rims are in great condition.

I like how the value edition is less then what mine started out at too... oh well I got a whole year of driving that they didn't.
