Subaru WRX STI Spec C

One thing is for sure with Subaru Imprezas, the longer their name is and the more fun you'll have behind the wheel, this explains why the Impreza WRX STi is better than the Impreza WRX...and why the new Impreza WRX STi Spec C should be the new king of the hill...until an S204 or Type RA-R version that is.

The "Spec C" should be somewhere around 70 kilos lighter thanks to an aluminium boot, compact 12V battery, thinner glass and lighter roof, not to mention a smaller fuel tank, yes, that also means more frequent stops at your favourite gas station.

The power should be around 300hp as any Scooby fan could expect, more news on this Impreza WRX STi Spec C soon.

I like the new STI, minus the rear tail lights. From what it did at the autocross Test-N-Tune event two weekends ago it looks fast and fun as hell to drive.

I saw a black one in person. I still don't like it. I'm really hoping they rework the design soon.

well, going by their history (02-03 bugeye, 04-05 blobeye, 06-07 pignose), it'll be reworked in 2010.

i dunno. i like it the way it is. it took a while for the design to grow on me. even the wrx looks pretty decent now.

the bumper is a chop, too. it's the 06-07 style bumper/lip.

agreed. they look badass in person, esp in dark gray or black. it always amazes me how much weight people give photos of cars, especially considering that cars exist in the real world, where they often look very different.

i like it about 10x better than the last one.

Just like the rest of the car makers, except Mazda (personal opinion), they get uglier from year to year. I like the older Sti's better, but then again, they are almost as popular as Honda Civics. They are all over the danm place. Im almost tired of seeing them.

I actually liked how the car looks. The best looking hatchy out now is the speed3. The only thing i dont like are the taillights. And that pic blows.
