Greetings all, new to these forums but have been finding some good info here so joining is better than lurking.

A good friend and I owned red/gray GTX's back in college and over the years I have always found it the car to be a perfect fit. Sold that car to my friend and former scca rally champ Sandy.

Found this replacement on Ebay a year and a half ago. Original owner, kept in the condo garage in WA state. ZERO rust. All records including the detailing!

Mods are mild; a Reich ecu with a Hallman MBC set at 16 lbs. The ecu is running a 93 octane program with 7k limiter. I had the local exhaust shop fabricate a 2.5" mandrel from the downpipe back. Very strong setup. Just 115k easy miles on the motor and Perfect compression.

Hotbits suspension...best mod for this car ever!..250lb fronts with 'helper' springs. Height adjustable rally x spec with Mazda comp top mounts.

Here are some pics..Again glad to be here.

Nice! Welcome, you've got yourself real clean car. I've got the same combo as you, Reich ECU, 2.5" exhaust, Hallman MBC. Do you get any boost spikes? I get right up to 17-18psi if I'm not careful.

(cheers) Thanks guys, it did take a bit of searching to find one like this.

I do sometimes get some small spikes but I find them to be related to the crazy swings in temperature seen here.

Any thoughts on a set of light 5" wheels for her?

sort of fond of these right now:

Time to put away the winter wheels.

I went with the AR Silverstone R in a 15x7

They weigh 14lbs each and seem to be good quality for $130 a wheel.
