i did one today c1 165 c2 172 c3 168 c4 170 witch i know is good for an engine with almost 100,000 mi on it
but my question is why is it smoking? at idle it doesn't but when i rev it up blue smoke comes out of it
i was thinking that if the rings were bad the numbers wouldn't be that good

might be worth doing a leak-down test. rings maybe.

are you sure the smoke is coming out of the exhaust my engine used to smoke real bad but the oil leak was coming from the rear main seal, and leaking onto the cat.

rear main seal could be the cause or may have cracked as a result of running low on oil, no?
