attempted to do my brakes saturday got the fronts no problem but the rear calipers are the problem, are they the kind that need to be turned in. i tried pushing them in but they wouldn't move. yes i did crake the bleeder valve but it didn,t help at all.

ya they need to be turned in...you can rent the tool for free at autozone

You can buy the tool from autozone for next to nothing. Its a box that you can put on the front of a socket wrench and turn them right in.

Just use vice grips and turn slowly but firmly.

I had the same issue with my rear breaks, Right behind the piston there is an allen head screw that needs to be backed off a little, once you do that the piston moves quite easy.

the msp calipers are not the same as the regular protege calipers...msp ones dont have a allen screw in the back
