Proper Paint Question

Ok , I am in the process of looking to get my car repainted and I am getting estimates from multiple bodyshops . Now my main question is what is the best type of paint? I hear there are several types out there and different places use different kinds. i would like to know what i should be looking for. I heard there is dupont and PPG i think . I am looking to possibly paint my car pearl white but i want it like a factory paint job .

How much do you think is a good price minor body work , Shaving off my antenna , body matching some interior pcs .

One shop quoted me 2,020 for all that if i paint the car the HHR orange or 2,320 if i want it pearl white . they all come with a 6 yr warranty

that sounds about right. when my friend got his car repainted, he got some major dent removal done, along with a single stage job for about 1100. so that 2k price sounds right for a proper paint job.

this is the look i am going for minus the wings west kit . i have the buddy club 2 kit and msp front end and msp trunk .

your probley goin to pay any where from 1800-3000 grand if its done right! your should have all the doors taken apart and handles out and bumpers off!

as far as paint imo sikkens ppg and glasurit! are top notch! your goin to pay for them but its very much worth it! they all both have very good clears!

other other advice look at previous work of the shop your taking it too! look for anything wrong in the paint! dirt( which will show ontop of white) orange peel and sags!
