FS: 2003.5 msp front lip

At first this was going to be a GI thread but now i've decided to sell my front lip. It is off a 2003.5 silver MSP. The lip had a crack in it when I bought the car back in August so I purchased a DGM front lip and I'm finally having it painted. I'd like to get $100 for it, and before people start flaming on me I realize it has a crack in it. I just figure maybe someone has a silver MSP, or Protege, or P5 and needs a lip. Maybe someone just wants a spare or knows how to fix a crack. I prefer to sell locally and would rather not ship, but if someone wants it bad enough I'll ship it. I'm also willing to drive a little ways.

I'm still going to keep the deletes and hardware for a new dgm lip i'm installing this weekend. If the deletes and hardware don't work with the dgm lip i'll include them as well.

I'm a little cautious as far as shipping goes because of the crack, but I'll tape it. It's a small crack but wouldn't want it to get worse being tossed around in some truck.

stock fogs is a good idea. do the brackets off a p5 work with the msp? and will this include the wires? i'd rather not hunt for wires and brackets.

I have brackets, but, there is a hole cut in the middle of them. Pics are in my Projector retrofit thread. As to wiring, are you wanting the whole wiring setup? Cause I plan on installing projectors using my stock fogs. I can include a wiring kit, but, it's the generic kit you can get at autozone.

i'll pass on the fogs for now. i really wasn't looking for fogs at the moment anyway. but i'll throw in the deletes and keep it all at $100.

I'm having a little trouble calculating the shipping because of the odd shape of this lip.

The UPS website says it will be around $15 but that was for a 15 lb package by ground and they don't let you specify size. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place.

USPS said like $90 because of the shape. I typed in 56"x12"x15. I don't really feel comfortable with USPS because they lost a package I mailed to my brother during Christmas.

If you guys know a better way or want to give it a try I'll be shipping from Westport, CT 06880. I'd appreciate the help, or I'll just go to a UPS store when I get a chance and see what they say.

use DHL or Greyhound...MUCH cheaper and they deliver big parts...get a quote from them before giving up pro5 :)

pro5 - the website said $90 because of the dimensions I put in. the lip plus fog light deletes can't weigh more than 10 lbs. I said 15 just to be sure, plus the weight of a box. Also remember UPS said like $15.

sorry for the delay, it's been busy at work. the lip is still for sale. Pro5x2 has first dibs. it was supposed to be taken off the car this past weekend for the new one to go on, but the guy painting the new one all of a sudden had something to do saturday and didn't get to it. now it will be off the car thursday or friday and ready for shipping this weekend. i'll keep everyone posted and have shipping quotes finalized this weekend. thanks for being patient.
