Hopefully not much because it looks exactly the same as it would look to install the 01+ bumper on a 99/00 without doing any work to the bumper.

i would think the sides of the 01-03 bumper on the outside of the headlights would need to be cut flat. that's the one thing that stands out when i look at it. 99-00 models the sides of the bumper goes straight across. shouldn't be that much, eh. easier to shave the edge off.

protege06,

bruddah, give rob. a call.

IT IS ACTUALLY A LOT OF WORK. I THOUGHT THE SAME THING, JUST CUT THE SIDES WHERE THE SIDE MARKERS GO. SHIT IF THAT WAS IT THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PIECE OF CAKE. THE BUMPER IS ACTUALLY WAY WIDER THAN 99-00, ALSO YOU WOULD HAVE TO MOLD THE SIDES TO FIT WITH THE FENDER PATTERN. THE HEADLIGHT PART, HAD TO BE CUT ROUNDED TO FIT THE HEADLIGHT CORRECTLY. AND ON TOP OF THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO CUSTOMIZE BRACKETS TO FIT THE GRILL CAUSE OUR CARS ARE A LITTLE SHORTER IN THE HOOD PART AND THE FRONT END IS LIKE 2-3 INCHES STICKING OUT. SO THAT HAS TO BE FITTED ALSO. OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING ELSE IS A PIECE OF CAKE. OHH AND THE GRAND TOTAL WAS 300 FOR THE FRONT END FITTED, SIDE SKIRTS, REAR SKIRT, TAP WELD THE OLD HOLES FROM OLD SPOILER, AND MAKE NEW HOLES FOR MP3 WING, AND SOME RANDOM BODY WORK.

Sorry dude I was in a bad mood when I posted that. Still... it could use some more work around the headlight and between the headlights at the hood. Or might be cause its light colored, your car is black, headlights are on and its a night picture.

yea the top of the bumper (between the grill and the headlight) is supposed to sit flush with the hood

still needs some body work, and once is painted, I will post some more pictures....

Did you replace the bumper bar with the msp/p5 one? Looks like the bumper isn't flush with the hood. Still looks good, though.

cut springs

the bumper doesn't fit for crap

and the rims are weird

but I really do like the overall look of the car ;)

have you thought about retrofitting msp headlights in there to try and match the lines of the bumper to the hood/fenders?

the overall look is fantastic, but there are some things that would finish it off. And I agree with nate, new rims and springs would be on my short list if this was my car

I agree with the people that have pointed out that the fitment on that bumper is really terrible...
