So I'm a total newb when it comes to suspension things. I have a set of tien SS coilovers installed. Recently I've noticed some major tire wear on the inner portion of my tire. Now it's the same size at the stock tires, they are the BF Goodrich Gsport. The front is on the lowest setting. The rears won't go all the way to the lowest setting so it's on the second to the lowest setting. When I try to put it all the way down, the springs will rub against the inner portion of the tire. Is this an alignment issue? Or do I need to purchase a Camber kit? I tried searching on the forum, I saw most threads stating that our MSP's don't need camberkits. But for this kind of problem, I was curious to see if I would need one. Thanks for the info.

hm.. most of the time when lowering your can you can tell when the camber is off, if there is wear in the inner of the tire or anywere more than other places on the tire than you need a alignment. easyest way to fix it would be take it to a shop and get it aligned

excess wear on the inner portion of the tire is definitely a camber issue, It COULD also be a "toe" issue, but this wouldn't result from a drop. the coil over kit may have a camber adjustment built into it (thus not needing a camber kit). regardless, as stated above, you need an alignment.

yeah when you lower and the camber changes it changes the toe also anytime you change camber and caster it always changes toe and camber and toe are direct tire wears

What about the rear springs of the coilover not being able go all the way down.

umm as for the rears not being able to drop all the way shouldnt be an aligment problem is the car jacked up when you trying to lower it?

I'm assuming you're on stock wheels and tires? if you are, and you can't lower them all the way, it sounds like a design flaw... or it may just be god(s) telling you that you don't need your car that low... assuming you believe in him/her/them that is.

What i suggest is jack the car up take the load off the suspenion try to adjust it that way if it doesnt work you might want to talk to the company you bought the coilovers from
