My brother's MSP is blowing smoke and one of his Ex Mani studs are broken. I haven't even seen the car to diagnose it, but by the sound of things it may be time to rebuild or replace the turbo. I dont come on the Mazda forums often because we haven't done much to his car. I believe he has a downpipe, EBC, and intake. Not a real enthusiast.

Anyway, so far I've found a few different manifold options,(not that we need one, but I hear the stocker sucks) but need help on the turbo. What would you suggest as far as a slightly larger direct replacement turbo? Nothing drastic thats going to require a new fuel setup or EMS.

I know for the SRT4 there are several vendors that offer a modified stock turbo. They clip the turbine blades, machine and port the compressor housing and put on a larger compressor blade.

Are there any vendors that offer something along those lines?

I guess you have to be really specific around here. Which vendors offer modified stock turbos?

Do you have a vendor section? I don't mind doing the research myself, but I only see a few site sponsors...

There is Protege Garage, Speed Circuit, NSN and few other vendors that can help you. Might want to try ATP also. Good luck !!
