Will a Mazda Miata shift knob fit a 2004 Mazda3?

I have been wanting to change my stock 2004 Mazda3 hatchback shift knob for a while but havn't really seen anything i like. The only one i have found that i like was for a 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata. It's the Mazdaspeed carbon fiber shift knob from Mazdaspeed. I have called my local dealerships and know of them knew. I just want to know if anyone knows if it would fit and if anyone has done it.
