strange noise

i just put on an ingen intake and a strange noise is pissing me off it sounds like a flute or a turkey or some kind of bov going off twice .It only happens when i shift at around 3.5 rpm or more it made the noise before i installed the new intake but it was not as lowd the car feels like it is not getting full boost and wheni bring the rpms up real high it makes a weird scream sometimes please help anyone

turkey time for you. the screaming sound is normal to an extent its the turbo spooling, if you don't like the turkey there are a couple options for you to go either a BOV/BPV duel setup or get a 1" recurc tube on your intake and hot pipe and run it with a Boostsciences RDV. or just get use to it and love owning a car that makes an unusually unique noise.

i thought it was my waste gate or my bov not working because the car also idles at 500 to 600 rpm. Is this infamous turkey noise really loud with an ingen intake every one looks at me like what the f?@# is that

Yep, I have an Injen intake and it really makes the turkey loud. I personally love making everyone turn their heads and go WTF?

I've read just about every thread on this site about it, and I have no intention of changing it.

If it really bothers you though, there are a few methods mentioned above that will get rid of it and you'll get the standard PSSHT that you hear from all the EVOs, STis and SRT4s running around.

Turkey sound is not that unusual. We alway's hear them in racing games! Even sega rally 1 and the Porsches in GTR2 etc ...
