Need Help

Hi! I need help with this part of my engine, its been broken for a while and some mechanic tried to "fix" it putting that fitting thing so it wouldnt get loose. But everytime thats attached to the other end my car makes a weird noise and the RPM gauge marker starts moving... Sorry for my explanation im not real good explaining when it comes to cars... Women are my specialties lol

Any help on whats the part name or # would be appreciate it.

The sensor is to tell the engines computer (ECU) to increase the idle speed when you turn the steering wheel as the power steering pump uses a little bit of engine power to turn the pump. You can leave it off unless you have engine idle problems when using the power steering. Oh and welcome!

oh i see my car seems to do fine without it, but if anyone knows the name of the sensor and or part number I'd like to have it in case for the future.

sorry i have no idea what that is called. I am sure that you could call the dealer and they could tell you what it is, just describe its function mentioned above and they should be able to help you.
