windshield crackling...

i have a 2008.5 ms3 gt...usually when its cold out the windshield makes a crackle noise when i ride over bumps...anyone else having this problem...any solutions??

I'm a "me too" on that - cold weather has set in and it really chatters - having read the full thread referred to by derspi - it certainly sounds like the same issue.

Same here! But I live in Florida and it doesn't get that cold, it got crazy loud at one point like two people were trying to twist it off my car.

I have it too - what is it? Or course, it really helps reduce rattles if you get all of the junk out of the glove compartment!

Although I hear the sound more often now - I did start hearing it over the summer - so temperature is just one factor.

Orginially I thought it was stuff in the glove box too - and then "scientifically" removed items from the glove box - until everything out of it - only to hear the sound continue.

Go to the dealership and complain and they will put some foam spacers in.
