'93 MX-6 Weird cutting out problem 4cyl

Hello All,

I have a weird problem of my '93 MX-6 cutting out randomly while driving... meaning it just soo random... i can be driving on the highway and the car dies and the techometer goes to 0 and the car start engine braking :(... what should i look for?... i have new wires, cap and rotor, plugs.... is the fuel pump on the way out? Let me know, thank you!

Sounds like your distributor is taking a dump. Does it ever not start after it stalls? If so- check to see if you have spark at that point.

you are right i just checked today and no spark :((..... this really sucks since the distributor is so expensive :|...
