Here are the 2009 Canadian CX-7 specs. Just minor changes, no performance updates. Remember US models will be packaged differently.

wow, this is great news. Standard aux input on every model, bluetooth integration and a new Sirius tuner which should work with everything!

When do these 09's come out in the US again?

Excellent, many of the things it should have had from day one.

Going with a 3 Sport GT instead.

I don't want to deal with the poor gas mileage.

when are the 2009's coming out?

I test drove a 2008 today and will likely be picking one up soon.

The MP3 and the high gloss wheels would be sweet.

Should see them on the lots in late July. Dealers have already ordered the first batch so you should be able buy an 09 now.

Woah - they got rid of the 2WD GT. That's disappointing.

I drove the CX-7 yesterday, and tried out the 2WD and 4WD. I didn't like the 4WD at all. It felt really heavy and not as responsive as the 2WD. I wont be able to get a 2009 loaded will all the options that is 2WD. :(

Guess its either the 2008 2WD GT model, or go with a completely other car all together

umm.. This is 2 years too late. At this point they should have Microsoft Sync or something... Sheesh..

Really if they wanted to keep the CX-7 fresh, they would re-work some of the interior and have a slightly different engine option... 6 cylinder in addition to the 4. Or increase the output on the 4 or something...

A little disappointing.

The CX-7 is redesigned for 2010. The new model was shown at the dealer meetings where the new 6 was unveiled. No specs were given, but I would expect to see a 2.5L DISI with a little more kick, plus updated features and styling. 2009 is only the 3rd model year I wouldn't have expected major changes at that point.

Thank goodness. The CX-7 was behind the times in terms of features when it was released. Hopefully they've taken two steps forward.
